Advisor Assignment (Master's Program)
- Assignment Period:
From the day following the announcement of final admission results, students must contact their preferred prospective advisor wihin one month.
※ For the Doctoral Program, prior contact with a prospective advisor is required before application submission.
- Announcement of Assignment: After the assignment period.(before admission).
- Matching Method: Advisors are assigned based on a matching process that considers the preference rankings of both students and advisors. -

Students with government scholarship may choose their academic advisors among all professors in the MSE department Students with KAIST scholarship are assigned to their academic advisors who have previously agreed to fund for their research Students with KAIST-Industrial scholarship may only choose their academic advisors among those participating in the specific KAIST-industrial program
