Government Scholarship
Portion of student education fee is subsidized using government resources

KAIST Scholarship
Student education fee is paid from academic advisor’s research fund. The professor responsible for a student’s education fee becomes the student’s academic advisor. Therefore, the student’s major may be restricted to the professor’s major.
KAIST-Industrial scholarship is provided by corporations in collaboration with KAIST to pay for student education fee. KAIST industrial programs include KAIST KEPSI (SK Hynix), KAIST EPSS(Samsung semiconductor), KAIST LGenius(LG Display), KAIST EPLL(LG Innotek), KAIST CEPP(LG Chem), KAISTS EPSD(Samsung Display), KAIST KSBP(Samsung SID), KAIST SKBEP(SK-On). -
General scholarship
Education fee is provided by Industry/Research Institute/Government Institute/Educational Institute. Applicants must submit recommendation letter and educational fee transcript signed by the head of affiliated institute.
