■ Abstract :

Soft electronics is an emerging field with the potential to advance wearable and biomedical technologies beyond the limitations of conventional rigid electronic devices. Soft electronics involves the use of stretchable electronic materials and semiconductor devices that can seamlessly integrate with biological systems. Organic electronic materials are particularly attractive due to their desirable properties of flexibility, stretchability, biocompatibility, and capability of solution processing. Herein, we present our research on the development of stretchable organic electronic materials and devices for next-generation soft electronics, including neuromorphic and bioelectronics. We introduce a novel semiconductor nanowire printing technology and a strain-resilient nanowire transistor with potential for bioelectronic applications.1 Next, we describe the development of organic artificial synapses and nerves that mimic the structure and function of biological synapses and nerves, with potential applications in neuromorphic computing, robotics, and bioelectronics.2-4 We also introduce a wearable health monitoring patch that integrates a stretchable display and pulse monitoring sensor.5 We believe that our research will contribute to the development of next-generation advanced soft electronic applications.
