M3I3 Workshop (september 16, 2022)

M3I3 Workshop was held by Prof. Seungbum Hong, EunAe Cho, Jong Min Yuk, Seunghwa Ryu both at Multimedia Hall and on-line (ZOOM).

There were invited talks by 6 scholars, and Co-PI talks by 3 professors of KAIST.

Information on invited talks is as follows:

- Prof. Sergei V. Kalinin (Principal Research Scientist of Amazon) : Microscopy is All You Need.
- Prof. Xin Li (Professor at Harvard University) : Dynamic Stability Design for Solid State Batteries.
- Prof. Joshua Agar (Professor at Lehigh University) : Practical Deployment of Machine Learning for High Velocity Science.
- Prof. Chris Wolverton (Professor at Northwestern University) : The Phase Diagram of All Inorganic Materials.
- Prof. Peter Voorhees (Professor at Northwestern University) : The Morphology and Topology of Nanoporous Metals.
- Prof. Peter Littlewood (Executive Chairman at Faraday Institution) : Elastic Coupling at Structural Phase Transitions.

Also, there was program discussion by each student of Prof. Hong, Cho, Yuk, Ryu’s lab

The Workshop successfully ended with 30 attenders.
Kwang-Hyung Lee, president of the KAIST, and Prof. HyuckMo Lee commended the successful hosting of this workshop.
