Prof. Byeong-Soo Bae & Prof. Jungho Jin (Ulsan Univ.)‘s research about flexible substrate film fabricated with b-chitin from squid was reported in KAIST newspaper.

Prof. Byeong-Soo Bae and group members have attended The 23rd International Display Workshops in conjunction with Asia Display 2016 (IDW 2016) held in Fukuoka, Japan. Prof. Byeong-Soo Bae and group member Daewon Lee’s poster had been elected as IDW/AD'16 Outstanding Poster Paper Award Winners.

Her presentation thesis was “Transparent Top Gate Oxide TFT with ITO/Ag/ITO Low Resistance Electrode for the Application to the High Speed Operation Fingerprint Sensor Array in the Touch Panel”.

Our group member ‘Hye-In Yeom’ gave poster presentation in ‘ECS PRiME 2016’ on October 2-7 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her presentation thesis was “High mobility bottom gate self-aligned oxide thin-film transistor with double oxide semiconducting layer”.

Our group member ‘Seunghee Lee’ gave poster presentation in ‘ECS PRiME 2016’ on October 2-7 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her presentation thesis was “Vertical oxide thin-film transistor with solution-processed channel define layer”.

Our group member ‘Kwang-Heum Lee’ gave oral presentation in ‘ENGE 2016’ on November 6-9 in Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel, Jeju, Korea. His presentation thesis was “Molybdenum alloy based source/drain electrode material for high-mobility oxide thin-film transistors and its copper diffusion barrier property”.
Our group member ‘Yunyong Nam’ gave poster presentation in ‘ENGE 2016’ on November 6-9 in Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel, Jeju, Korea. His presentation thesis was “Annealing effect of rapid thermal process (RTP) on the electrical characteristics of back-channel etched Al-IZTO TFTs”.

Our group member ‘Yunyong Nam’ published a paper as 1st author in ‘Physica Status Solidi A’ on September, 2016. (Article title ; "Effect of a rapid thermal annealing process on the electrical properties of an aluminum-doped indium zinc tin oxide thin film transistor")

‘Jungcheol Shin’ and ‘Hyuk Hur’ joined to our group for masters degree course from September, 2016.

Purchased new equipments : Vacuum furnace (Ov-11), Force gauge & stand system (Mark-10), Fume Hood (Labsys), Multi-Stirrer (Daehan Science), Optical Microscope (Future Science), High Precision Electronic balance (Daehan Science).

Prof. Sang Ouk Kim, Prof. Jonghwa Shin and Dr. Ju Young Kim developed novel synthesis technology for “highly tunable refractive index visible-light metasurface from block copolymer self-assembly” and published the research results on 'Nature Communication' journal. This achievement was covered by a media (YTN Science), Oct 6. 2016
