• 가. 장학금 신청 자격: 신소재공학과 주 전공 재학생 (학사과정 1명, 대학원과정 1명)

   - 장학금 수혜 학기 휴학 예정자는 신청 불가

   - 장학금 수혜 학기 복학 예정자는 신청 가능

   

  나. 장학금 선발 요건

   - 가정형편이 곤란하여 학업을 계속하기 어려운 학생

   - 학사과정의 경우 3~4년 차 학생을 우선 선정하나, 타 학년도 선정 가능

   - 혜택을 받은 적이 없는 학생을 우선 선정하나, 요건 만족 시 재선정 가능

   - 위원회에서 특별히 장학생으로 선정이 필요하다고 인정되는 학생

   - 직전학기 기준 최소 평점평균을 만족하는 학생 (학사과정 3.0 이상, 대학원과정 3.7 이상)

   

  다. 장학금액: 200만원/학기(학사과정), 300만원/학기(대학원과정)

   

  라. 제출 서류

   - 장학금 신청서 및 개인정보 수집•이용•제공 동의서 및 자기소개서(붙임1)

   - 지도교수 추천서(붙임2)

   - 성적증명서

   

   - 신청인(학생)명의 예금통장 사본 등

   

  마. 신청 방법

   - 2024년 9월 12일(금), 17:00까지 e_leeyj@kaist.ac.kr로 서류 제출

   

  바. 장학금 수령액의 환수/반환

   - 장학금 신청서 및 제반 서류 제출 사항이 사실과 다른 경우

   - 징계, 학기 중 자의적 휴학 등 학사위원회에서 학비 지원이 부적절하다고 판단하는 경우

   

  * 적합한 지원자가 없는 경우, 장학금이 수혜되지 않을 수 있습니다.

  ** 필요 시 가정형편 증빙서류(소득분위확인서, 기초수급증명원, 차상위확인서 등)를 요청할 수 있습니다.

Scholarship / Iruja Scholarship

•  

  • A. Eligibility to apply for a scholarship: Students enrolled in a bachelor's degree in the department of new materials engineering.

    • Scholarship recipients who are scheduled to take a leave of absence for the semester cannot apply
    • Scholarship recipients may apply for a return to school for the semester

  • B. Scholarship selection requirements

    • Students who have difficulty continuing their studies due to poor family circumstances
    • Undergraduates in their 3rd and 4th years are selected first, but if they meet the requirements, they can be selected in other grades
    • Students who have never received benefits are selected first, but can be re-elected if they meet the requirements
    • Students who meet the minimum grade of the previous semester (3.0 or higher for undergraduate, 3.7 or higher for graduate)
    • Other students deemed necessary to be selected as scholarship students by committee;

  • C. Scholarship amount: 2 million won/semester (undergraduate) 3 million won/semester (graduate)

    • Where the application for scholarship and all documents submitted are different from the facts;
    • Where the Academic Committee deems tuition support inappropriate, such as disciplinary action and voluntary leave of absence during the semester;
